Sneha is the creative director and founder of Sunrise Dance with over 25 years of dance experience specializing in Kathak and Bollywood. 

Sneha was 6 years old when she stepped into her first Kathak class at the Shivangini Academy of Arts under the guidance of Guru Shiva Mathur.  Her experience with dance continued for 12 years, until she completed her Kathak Pranam Graduation in 2010. Shortly after, Sneha attended the University of Houston and studied Supply Chain Management with a minor in Management Information Systems.

While studying, Sneha discovered her unique beat while dancing with Rhythm India Bollywood and Indo-fusion Dance company, founded by Arzan Gonda. Sneha was a part of the Senior Company for 7 years and had the opportunity to work as a part-time instructor.

Through both schools, Sneha has had the privilege to meet, attend workshops, and perform with some of the most well renowned dancers, from Guru Pundit Birju Maharaj Ji, Guru Saswati Ji to Saroj Khan, Swarali Karulkar,  Shakti Mohan and many others. Sneha has also been featured in the Houston Rockets halftime show and the Houston episode of Anthony Bourdain’s- Parts Unknown. Her performances at Bollywood Blast, Romeo and Juliet - a Kathak ballet led by Birju Maharaj Ji and Saswati Ji, and Charulata - a remake of Cinderella are a few unforgettable experiences she is immensely proud of.
